Poker at ok100: the platform built for Brazilian players

Brazil has one of the most passionate poker communities in the world. From São Paulo to Fortaleza, from Porto Alegre to Manaus, millions of Brazilians play poker and are looking for a platform that treats them right — fair odds, fast withdrawals, and a mobile interface that actually works. The ok100 was built with that player in mind.

The flagship is the Texas Hold'em, of course — it's the most popular style in Brazil and worldwide, and ok100 offers tables for absolutely every skill level. If you're just starting out, there are microstakes tables with blinds as low as R$ 0.10/R$ 0.20 where you can learn without risking much. If you're experienced and want real action, the VIP tables with R$ 50.00/R$ 100.00 blinds bring together the platform's best players in matchups that move hundreds of thousands of BRL per week.

The format Zoom Poker (fast-fold) is especially popular among Brazilian players who enjoy playing a high volume of hands. Instead of waiting for the table's turn to end, you fold and immediately move to a new hand at another table. You can play over 300 hands per hour — ideal for anyone looking to study the game or make the most of their available time.

For those who prefer the Omaha, ok100 offers PLO (Pot Limit Omaha) tables at multiple stake levels, including the Hi-Lo format, where the pot can be split between the best high hand and the best low hand. Omaha has been growing fast in Brazil, especially among Hold'em players looking for more pre-flop action and bigger pots.

The tournaments are where ok100 truly stands apart. The Sunday Millions, held every Sunday at 7 PM, features a guaranteed prize pool of R$ 500,000.00 with a buy-in of just R$ 100.00. That means you can turn a hundred-BRL bet into tens of thousands of BRL with solid play. The deep stack structure — starting with 30,000 chips — gives you plenty of room for strategy and decision-making, so the tournament never comes down to a single flip.

But the detail that appeals most to the Brazilian community is the Weekly Freeroll. Every Saturday at 3 PM, any player with a verified ok100 account can enter a tournament with R$ 10,000.00 in prizes — completely free. It's a real opportunity to experience competitive play and still have a shot at cashing out without any extra investment.

Live poker with real dealers is also available at ok100 through the Live Casino section. There you'll find Casino Hold'em, Three Card Poker, and other variations played against the dealer via high-definition live stream — a great option for players who love the feel of in-person play but prefer to stay home.

Depositing is simple: Pix from R$ 20.00, via boleto bancário, Visa or Mastercard credit or debit card, PicPay, Mercado Pago, or TED bank transfer through Nubank, Itaú, Bradesco, and Banco do Brasil. All in BRL, with instant credit. And when you withdraw — via Pix — the funds hit your account in under 5 minutes, any day of the week.

Terms every player needs to know

Got confused by a term at the tables? Here's a quick guide to the key poker concepts you need to know.

Blinds
Forced bets placed by the two players to the left of the dealer before seeing their cards. Small blind (SB) and Big blind (BB).
Flop
The first three community cards dealt face-up on the table after the opening betting round.
Turn
The fourth community card revealed. Also known as "fourth street".
River
The fifth and final community card. This is where many pots are won or lost on big bets.
All-in
Betting all your chips at once. If you win, you collect proportionally to what each opponent has at stake.
Pot Odds
The ratio between the size of the pot and the amount needed to call a bet. Essential for making mathematically sound decisions.
Bluff
Betting or raising with a weak hand to make your opponent fold. One of the cornerstones of poker strategy.
Position
Your position at the table relative to the dealer. Playing "in position" (acting after your opponents) is a massive advantage.
3-bet
Re-raising over an existing open. A 3-bet can be made for value or as a bluff to put pressure on your opponent.
Buy-in
The amount paid to enter a cash game table or a tournament. At cash tables, it represents the chips you start with.

Tips to improve your online poker game

Poker is a blend of skill, patience, and the ability to read situations. There's no magic formula — but there is study, and ok100 wants to grow alongside you.

I Want to Compete
Respect position
Playing in position — acting after your opponents — is one of the biggest edges in poker. You have more information about their actions before making your own decision. Widen your hand range in late positions (BTN, CO) and play tighter from early positions.
Manage your bankroll
One of the most important rules: never sit at a cash table with more than 5% of your total bankroll. For tournaments, cap each buy-in at no more than 2% of your bankroll. This ensures that a bad run won't wipe out your balance.
Study your opponents
In online poker, pay close attention to timing and betting patterns. An opponent who always acts within 1 second is likely using automated software. Someone who takes a long time before making a big bet usually has a real hand. Use that information to your advantage.
Understand pot odds and equity
Before calling a bet, check whether the pot justifies it. If you have a 30% chance of winning the hand (equity) and the bet represents less than 30% of the total pot, the call is mathematically correct in the long run. This basic reasoning alone sets most players apart.
Control tilt
Tilt is the emotional state where frustration leads to poor decisions. Every player goes through it — from beginners to pros. Recognizing when you're on tilt and stepping away is one of the most valuable, and hardest, skills in poker.
